"Can I help?" you
ask |
So much goes into the
operation and function of even a small church such as House of
Fellowship. The ministry, deacons, trustees, Sunday school
teachers, are all somewhat visible contributors to the working of
our assembly. |
|
There are other helps
that are equally vital, yet not so obvious in their contribution.
These include those that spend hours in prayer for the ministry and
leaders of the church as well as the many needs of the people. Or,
the sisters that clean the entire building each week. Or, skilled
workers that labor to bring building projects to fruition. Some
however, prefer to help by simply contributing financially to these
needs. The purpose of this page is simply to communicate new
needs that require either volunteer service or funding, so that
those with a desire to help might know the different avenues they
may take to help. |

have
stepped up to
make things happen! |

New Shed
|
Bro. Nick found us our new
shed. Work needed to bring this functional is as
follows:
- Set: The
plastic footings and block that the shed will sit on are
on site, as are the tie down straps. The shed
needs to be set up on these and leveled.
- Electrical:
Conduit needs to be run from the breaker panel in the
fellership hall, underground 24", and up into the shed
to feed the existing electrical feed in the shed.
The interior ceramic lamp holder should be replaced with
a 4' fluorescent fixture, mounted above the
bottom cord of the trusses. Additionally, a motion
controlled spotlight fixture, like those on the back
doors of the fellership hall, should be added (along
with a switch), to the shed.
- Carpentry:
Interior walls should be sheathed with 1/2" OSB or
plywood. Windows need security screening or bars
installed.
- Ramp: A
ramp should be constructed at roll up door.
- Security:
A second lock hasp needs to be sourced and then
installed on the left hand side of the roll up door.
To sign up for any of these
tasks, see Bro. Scott or Bro. Tedd |

Hammond Organ
A vintage
(1958ish) Hammond C3, and Leslie 122, have been purchased
and the Leslie tone cabinet is being refinished. Look,
or rather listen, for that great, authentic Hammond sound in
church some time around February!

Paved Parking
During
construction, grass parking was used to save $$. It was
thought that in successive years, additional areas would be
paved. This is for the front of the building.

Your support
check can be left in the Offerings slot at church.
Please clearly indicate which initiative your support is
for. This is the best method to donate as it allows
the giver to claim the donation for tax purposes, and when
the church affects the purchase, there is no sales tax.
Thank you and God bless your alms giving. |
